Where a child starts
It depends on what they can already do, not on their age. In the free trial class the teacher listens to the child read and places them at the right level.
- Brand new to Arabic letters: Noorani Qaida. Letter shapes, sounds and joining, which is the foundation for everything after.
- Can read Arabic but shaky: Quran reading with Tajweed. Fluency and correct pronunciation rules.
- Reads well and ready to memorise: the Hifz track, with a daily portion and a revision plan.
- Very young, ages 4 to 9: short surahs and daily duas, taught gently and in small pieces.
Why one-on-one matters for children
In a group class a quiet child can go a whole term without being corrected properly. One-on-one, every single letter the child reads is heard and fixed on the spot. That is the difference between a child who reads the Quran and a child who reads it correctly.
It also means the pace belongs to your child. A child who picks things up fast is not held back, and a child who needs a slower start is not left behind.
Why the same time every day
Thirty minutes a day, five days a week, at a fixed time, turns Quran into part of the routine rather than something the family has to arrange each week. Children settle into it quickly. Parents stop having to nag.
What you need at home
A phone, tablet or laptop, a reasonable internet connection, and a quiet corner. Classes run on the app your family already uses. Nothing to install beyond that, and no materials to buy.
Common questions
What is the youngest age you teach?
Around age 4. Very young children start with short surahs and everyday duas in a gentle, playful format rather than formal reading.
Are classes one-on-one or group?
Every class is one-on-one. One child, one teacher, for the full 30 minutes.
Can my child have a female teacher?
Yes. Naeem Quran Academy has both male and female teachers. Tell us your preference when you book and we will match your child accordingly.
How long before I see progress?
Most parents notice clearer pronunciation within a few weeks, because the child is being corrected every day rather than once a week.
Can two of my children learn together?
They each get their own one-on-one class and their own teacher. Two children from the same family are £55 per month in total, and three are £75.
