What a parent should insist on
- One named teacher, not a pool. If you cannot say who teaches your child, that is the problem to fix first.
- Meet the teacher before enrolling. A free trial should be with the actual teacher, not a sales demo.
- Class in a shared room. Kitchen table or living room, not a bedroom with the door shut.
- Parent account controls the call. The scheduling and the link sit with you, not with the child.
- No private messaging with the child. All contact goes through the parent. This is the single most important rule.
- Fixed time slot. Ad hoc rescheduling through the child is how contact drifts out of a parent’s view.
