Hifz
How to Memorize the Quran Online
What a daily Hifz session looks like
- Sabaq, the new portion. Usually a few lines, read correctly first, then memorised.
- Sabqi, recent revision. The last few days of work, recited back to the teacher.
- Manzil, older revision. A rotating portion of everything memorised so far, so nothing quietly slips away.
All three happen in the same 30 minutes. Skipping the revision is the single most common reason people lose what they have memorised.
Before you start Hifz
A student should be reading the Quran fluently and correctly first. Memorising on top of shaky reading locks in the mistakes, and fixing them later is much harder than getting it right at the start. If a student is not there yet, the teacher will start them on Quran reading with Tajweed and move to Hifz when they are ready.
How long it takes
It depends entirely on the daily portion and how well revision is kept up, so anyone quoting you a fixed number of years is guessing. What can be said honestly is that a student who shows up five days a week and revises properly will finish, and a student who works in bursts usually will not.
Why online works for Hifz
Hifz needs daily contact more than almost any other kind of study. Getting a child to a teacher five days a week in person is difficult for most families. Online removes that obstacle, and one-on-one means every line is heard.
Common questions
How much does the Hifz track cost?
£40 per month, covering five 30 minute one-on-one classes a week with a dedicated Hifz teacher and a structured revision plan.
Can you really memorise the Quran online?
Yes. What Hifz needs is daily one-on-one contact with a teacher who hears every line. Online delivers that five days a week, which is more than most families manage in person.
What age should a child start Hifz?
When they read the Quran fluently and correctly, not at a fixed age. Starting before reading is solid tends to lock in mistakes.
How much is memorised each day?
The teacher sets the portion based on the student. A steady small portion with good revision beats a large portion that gets forgotten.
Do you track progress?
Yes. Hifz students get progress tracking and reports, and parents receive regular updates.
